So, we’ve put together a comprehensive calendar of the top exciting expos and conferences set to hit the industry in 2024!
From networking with fellow industry peers and learning more about the future of plumbing systems to working through valuable professional development sessions, these are just a fraction of the reasons you’ll want to check out plumbing trade shows in 2024. No matter where you’re located around the country, here are the most-anticipated upcoming plumbing trade shows of 2024.
1. Flow Expo 2024
When: March 9, 2024- Where: Pomona, CA, USA
Since 1975, industry professionals from all over the country have gathered at the annual Flow Expo to learn about, exhibit, and discuss innovative solutions in the plumbing space. For 2024, the Flow Expo will be held at the Fairplex in Los Angeles County with over 100 exhibitors alongside various keynote and education seminars, thanks to Expo participants like Bradford White and AO Smith.
In addition to numerous plumbing product seminars, Flow Expo 2024 will also dive into a selection of professional development sessions sponsored by speakers from SuperTech University. Event speakers will discuss numerous topics surrounding entrepreneurship, including job costing, sales tactics, and marketing strategies, that plumbing businesses can use to enhance their operations.
2. PHCC West 2024
When: April 29 – May 2, 2024- Where: Rancho Mirage, CA, USA
Leading trade association, Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors (PHCC) West will be hosting its 123rd annual trade event at The Westin in Rancho Mirage, California this year. For decades, PHCC has been committed to empowering the skilled trade workforce and supporting the success of its members, which range from small residential plumbers to massive country-wide enterprises.
Offering a unique variety of educational sessions from different plumbing industry visionaries, PHCC West and its high-level discussions are ideal for plumbing contractors looking to hone in on operational improvement. Best-selling author David Corbin will host a keynote presentation outlining proven strategies plumbing contractors can use to gain a competitive edge, build a strong brand reputation, and support strong client and employee retention.
3. 2024 Emerging Water Technologies Symposium
When: May 14 – 15, 2024- Where: Scottsdale, AZ, USA
The biennial Emerging Water Technologies Symposium (EWTS) is the perfect event for plumbing industry professionals looking to enhance their knowledge on topics related to sustainability. Stationed at Scottsdale Plaza and Villas, EWTS 2024’s theme, “The Nexus Between Sustainability and Safety: Avoiding Unintended Consequences,” will dive deep into topics including but not limited to geothermal technology, emerging water contaminants, and new plumbing material developments.
The two-day EWTS event holds quite an impressive schedule of speakers, ranging from local water management policy directors to manufacturers of some of the most recent sustainable plumbing technologies. 4. InstallerSHOW
When: June 25 – 27, 2024- Where: Birmingham, England, UK
As the largest plumbing product tradeshow in all of the United Kingdom, InstallerSHOW 2024 is the place to be for plumbing professionals looking to venture out of the U.S. this expo season. A 50% upgrade in floor space allows 2024’s InstallerSHOW to be one of its biggest yet, with over 600 exhibitors and 20,000 industry professionals from around the world expected to come together.
InstallerSHOW 2024 will take place at the National Exhibition Centre and is the ideal location for plumbing professionals seeking to expand their product offerings and learn more about innovations currently emerging outside of the U.S. market. InstallerSHOW 2024 registration is now open and unlike the majority of trade events, tickets are free—but, unfortunately, do not include airfare.
5. 95th Annual IAPMO Conference
When: September 22 – 26, 2024- Where: Las Vegas, NV, USA
The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) will be hosting its 95th annual conference this year at the Planet Hollywood Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Since 1926, the IAPMO has coordinated the development of industry codes, including the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC), to support industry-wide safety and reliability around the nation.
While the final details of the 95th IAPMO Conference are all still being sorted, conference goers can expect networking opportunities with a variety of water quality and plumbing industry professionals, predominantly contractors and code officials. The IAPMO Conference will also hold various committee discussions regarding industry codes, product regulations, and professional qualifications.
6. ServiceTitan Pantheon ‘24
When: September 30 – October 2, 2024- Where: Orlando, FL, USA
From plumbers and HVAC techs to electricians and housing contractors, the annual ServiceTitan Pantheon is built for every variety of trade professionals. ServiceTitan leverages its annual Pantheon event to offer all people of the trades a vast selection of business-enhancing opportunities, including product training sessions, keynote discussions, and constant networking.
ServiceTitan Pantheon ‘24 will be held at the Orlando World Center Marriott, with early bird registration and pricing running through April 30. With the full ServiceTitan Pantheon ‘24 agenda yet to be released, those who are interested should stay tuned for additional details regarding scheduled activities and keynote speakers. With past speakers as big as tennis legend Venus Williams, you’ll never know who will show up in 2024!
7. 2024 International Code Council Annual Conference and Expo
When: October 20 – 23, 2024 - Where: Long Beach, CA, USA
The International Code Council (ICC) will hold its annual Conference and Expo for 2024 at the Long Beach Convention Center in California. The ICC is responsible for the development and management of the International Plumbing Code (IPC), which is now used across 37 states to regulate various plumbing practices, including backflow prevention and water supply distribution.
During the three-day ICC event, attendees can expect a variety of insight sessions, product exhibitions, networking events, and keynote discussions. ICC Annual Conference and Expo registration opens this March with more information regarding the daily agenda and keynote speakers expected to follow.
Plumbing Trade Shows 2024: Don’t Throw a Wrench in Your Plans
Between learning from plumbing industry visionaries and gaining hands-on experience with emerging technologies, plumbing conferences and expos are the way to go for contractors of all experience levels.
